Baseball is the pastime of Americans, every kid plays baseball when they are young. Fathers spend time with there children playing
baseball in the backyard.
Cricket in India is the same way, it’s the pastime of Indians.
Playing cricket and school was the only thing i did in India. When growing up in India there were no other options expect for
Cricket. If i had a Plasma HD Tv in India, then i might would had other options.

4. HISTORY
• History of Cricket
http://connect.in.com/history-of-cricket/photo-gallery.html
The exact origins of cricket are unknown, but there are theories, like the word “cricket” may have come from “cric” meaning
hooked staffs. The hooked staffs were carried by shepards in grass lands. The grass lands also point to cricket because cricket
cannot be played on thick grass, but well shaved grass. If sheep grazed the land then it will be suitable for playing cricket.
In 17th century, the game become a sport of gambling, making it illegal and immoral to play cricket on sundays, because sunday
was Church day. ( there were two people arrested for playing cricket on sunday.)
In 1788 Cricket become respected and a sport with Laws.

The rivalry between India and Pakistan is not a new thing, it started when the countries were divided.
When there’s a game between India and Pakistan, schools are let off early, offices are closed down, and even
the homeless people turn on there radios to watch the game.

the game match would be great.

ODI which stands for one day international is the most popular version of the game today.
This is the version which is played in the world cup and the ICC Champions trophy. The Cricket World Cup is the
second most popular sport in the world after soccer.
The game is popular than the traditional Test cricket because it’s a one day game which makes it more like
other sports.
Other countries not including ICC members are allowed to play. Like in the past Ireland, Canada, Scotland have
played.

Latest Form of Cricket
More Aggressive
Non time consuming
Rising popularity
http://webjoogler.com/tag/pakistan-vs-india/
Twenty20 - IT is latest form of cricket, shortest, and more aggressive than ODI
Twenty20 was first introduced in England Counties, 2001. Twenty20 is not time consuming like other Cricket type of matchs, a
regular game is about 3 and half hours. It is becoming more popular and closer to other sports due to it’s time period.
ODI and Twenty20 are played the same way but their are some differences. Twenty20 has only 20 overs unlike 50 for ODI.
Unlike ODI, in twenty20 a bowler may bowl only 4 out of 20 overs.
